A short taster Modern Meditation to get you ready
A little taster
Before you embark on the main course Modern Meditation sessions and practices I thought it might be useful for you to have a little taster to get you started. This little guided practice is the first part of our first session called Noticing. Its a very simple practice designed to help you first of all be alert and then direct your attention. This is an important little foundation practice and it's a good skill to develop as it will help you strengthen and enhance your overall Modern Meditation practice.
You wont need to come back to this again unless you want to. We will be revisiting this practice and extending in the next session.
There is no teaching video with this first guided meditation because I am inviting you to just and listen without any other distractions. Remember what I talked about with mindset and posture and just go with my guided instruction. You can also download this meditation so that you can practice on your own.
So sit upright in a chair, take your shoes off, place your feet flat on the floor, put on some headphones and I will do the rest.
